  • Maple
    • A hardwood that runs in the color range of off white to light brown. Natural characteristics of this wood include a curly grain, sugar streaks, occasional mineral and pin knots and possible light heartwood.
  • Red Birch
    • A hardwood that runs in the color range of pink to reddish brown to purple. Natural characteristics of this wood include a tight, indistinct grain, streaky colors common figured or curly grain with contrasting shades of red and brown.
  • Red Oak
    • A hardwood that runs in the color range of tan to reddish brown. Natural characteristics of this wood include a small amount of mineral and pin knots. Sapwood may appear.
  • Clear Pine
    • A softwood that runs in the color range of off-white to yellow light brown to reddish brown. Natural characteristics of this wood  include an indistinct grain, contrasting color, clear on the face with occasional sap specks and streaks. There may also be occasional small tight knots on the back.
  • Knotty Pine
    • A softwood  that runs in the color range of off-white to yellow to orange brown. Natural characteristics include possible sap streaks, sound whole and cut knots. It can also include well-matched narrow boards.
  • Hickory
    • A hardwood that runs in the color range of off-white to gray to dark brown. Natural characteristics include unlimited mineral and small peck marks, with possible contrasting in the sapwood and heartwood.
  • White Birch
    • A hardwood that runs in the color range of off-white to light brown. Natural characteristics include fleck, occasional mineral and pin knots with possible light heartwood.
  • Alder
    •  A hardwood that runs in the color range of pale yellow to light reddish brown. Natural characteristics include a somewhat uniform in color throughout, concentrated modular ray markings parallel to the grain and pronounced contrast between end and surface grain.
  • Lyptus
    • A hardwood that runs in the color range of pink to reddish brown. Natural characteristics include a medium texture, occasional color streaks in the grain, variable straight to ropy grain, and contrasting shades of red and brown.
  • Mahogany
    • A hardwood that runs in the color range of light/medium brown to dark brown to gray brown to red. Natural characteristics include a tight indistinct grain with occasional color streaks and contrasting shades of brown.
  • Walnut
    • A hardwood that runs in the color range of off-white to light brown. Natural characteristics include a curly grain, streaky color, occasional mineral and pin knots and light sapwood.
